The Museum Network is a partnership between The Wallace Collection and four important regional collections; The Bowes Museum, Compton Verney, The Holburne Museum of Art and Waddesdon Manor. Until April 2011 education projects were made possible by Strategic Commissioning funding. Many programmes are still available at individual museums. Storytelling: Primary School Literacy and Art Session
The five Network Museums have developed of a series of storytelling workshops designed to enable pupils to explore the collections and to use them to inspire their own creative writing and artwork in response.
Community Projects
The Story Tree
To encourage these audiences a sculpture project was devised where the local families would design and create a ‘story tree’ based on collection items, for the Story Garden.
