Vive La France: French Workshops for Primary Classes

Created at The Bowes Museum, now also available at The Wallace Collection and The Holburne Museum of Art

During this workshop children have the opportunity to learn French vocabulary and simple phrases through drama and art. At each museum a relevant character (Joséphine Bowes at The Bowes, Madame de Pompadour at The Wallace and Queen Charlotte at The Holburne) works with pupils to teach them French vocabulary and language skills as well as about French culture and history through the unique French collections.
